The Trozzolo Media Team earned a clean sweep at the 2023 Media Mix Awards, recognizing the best work in the marketing and advertising media industry across Greater Kansas City.
Trozzolo won the three prime categories awarded at the annual event, which was held September 14 at Studio Dan Meiners. Our amazing Media Team was named Agency of the Year, winning out over a crowded pool of some of Kansas City’s largest and most prestigious agencies.
“We are honored to receive this award, and so proud of our team’s hard work every single day on behalf of our amazing clients,” said Shelley Porter, Media Director for Trozzolo. “However, to win it with some of the largest agencies in the U.S. that were also nominated makes this one extra special.”
Our very own Amy McNeall, a 25-plus-year veteran in agency media, was named Media Buyer/Planner of the Year.
“It was such a special evening, and I was so thankful to receive this honor alongside my teammates, who are all so great at what we do,” McNeall said. “I’ve been doing this for quite some time, but it’s important to keep things fresh and always be looking forward to what’s next, what’s better, and how do we get there. That keeps our work at the top of the game.”
To round out the sweep, Trozzolo’s “Roos Do” campaign for the University of Missouri – Kansas City was named Campaign of the Year.
“This campaign was next-level,” said Julie Robinson, Chief Client Officer for Trozzolo. “Our partners at UMKC allowed us to push the limits to reach new audiences and showcase their first-class brand across the Midwest. It is truly an award-winning campaign with a smart, creative media mix driving home the message. We are so proud of our team.”
The Trozzolo team was also nominated in several other categories, including Shelley Porter for the Larger Than Life Award, David Hejduk for Agency Media Support of the Year, and Rhonda Kakie for Agency Support of the Year.
