Trozzolo Communications Group (TCG) has announced a new executive leadership structure designed to guide the firm through its next phase of national growth, as it continues one of the most transformative periods in the agency’s history.
New Structure, Eye on Expansion
Along with that growth, a new agency leadership structure is taking hold. Angelo Trozzolo will focus on the role of chief executive officer, removing “president” from his title. This will allow Trozzolo to maintain a sharp eye on additional growth opportunities through acquisitions across the U.S.
The president role will be shared by two longtime TCG executives. Previous CMO Josh Brewster will now serve as president and chief client officer, and former CFO/COO Rachel Lupardus will serve as president and chief operating officer. Ross Wuetherich has been named chief creative officer. The agency also welcomed Meg Schulte as senior vice president of client services, and earlier this year announced Chris Humphreys as chief strategy officer. Haley Harrison-Lee was elevated to vice president of public relations and will lead the agency’s rapidly growing PR team in Kansas City.
Longtime Trozzolo executive Julie Robinson, who joined Trozzolo as part of Kuhn & Wittenborn’s merger with Trozzolo in 2015, retired in February. Robinson will continue to partner with Trozzolo on passion projects as she enjoys the next chapter of her life.
In their new positions, Brewster and Lupardus will oversee complementary aspects of the firm’s performance. Brewster will focus on client partnerships and growth for Trozzolo Communications Group’s companies, including Trozzolo, Punch PR in Milwaukee and Midan Marketing, while Lupardus will lead operations, integration and the systems that support the agency’s continued scale. Wuetherich will lead and elevate the creative vision across all client work.
The addition of Humphreys and Schulte, as well as the hire of VP of Communications Strategy, Kristen Price, and the promotion of Harrison-Lee, further strengthens TCG’s strategy and client leadership bench, bringing additional depth to the agency’s client services team as it continues to expand its national portfolio.
This restructuring bolsters the leadership team responsible for guiding client relationships and operational performance. The moves come as TCG continues to reshape itself as a next-generation independent marketing firm with national influence and Midwest roots.
For TCG, the leadership changes represent the next step in building a structure capable of sustaining that momentum.
“Over the past few years we’ve been very deliberate about building the kind of organization that can grow without losing the things that made it successful in the first place,” said Angelo Trozzolo. “Our executive teams have long played central roles in shaping our culture, strengthening our client relationships and building the operational foundation that allows us to scale. Elevating this team into these roles keeps our growth intentional and our future extremely bright.”
Growth Mindset Is Paying Dividends
Over the past 12 months, TCG has executed one of the most significant growth periods in its history, substantially expanding its book of business while intentionally redefining what a modern independent, full-service agency can be.
The agency’s momentum is reflected in its business performance. New clients in Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 represent 19% of total agency revenue, demonstrating strong marketplace demand and disciplined business development. New client additions include PR engagements with three new business units within the McDonald’s system, including South Central Texas, Southern Virginia and Mountain West. This includes media markets like Austin, San Antonio and Laredo in Texas, as well as Roanoke, Richmond and Charlottesville in Virginia, and Salt Lake City and Boise.
This strengthens TCG’s portfolio within the McDonald’s U.S. system by leading PR and community engagement for more than 15% of restaurants nationwide, a footprint that continues to grow.
Additional wins with a national footprint include Shiplify, Waypoint Mutual, K12/Stride, Inc., and Garney Construction, and MERS Goodwill in Kansas City. Midan Marketing, TCG’s newest partner in the meat and ag space, recently added Suzy Sirloin to its client list.
Growth has been both strategic and organic. Client retention remains near 100%, while employee turnover remains significantly below industry averages. Average tenure at the firm now exceeds eight years, reinforcing the agency’s culture of ownership and long-term partnership.
A Strategic Approach to Growth
Guided by a long-term vision to build the marketing firm of the future, the agency accelerated its diversification strategy in 2025 through two acquisitions that deepened category leadership and expanded geographic reach.
The acquisition of Midan Marketing, the nation’s premier meat and agriculture marketing firm, established TCG as a clear market leader in a critical American industry while strengthening its national vertical expertise alongside its health care and legal marketing divisions. Following the acquisition, Midan relocated its headquarters to Kansas City, consolidating leadership and category expertise in the agency’s home market.
TCG also acquired Punch PR, a Milwaukee-based public relations firm that expanded the agency’s footprint in the Great Lakes region and deepened its public relations capabilities.
Both acquisitions were integrated without client loss, with strong retention of key talent and immediate revenue contribution — a reflection of the agency’s disciplined approach to integration and its focus on protecting culture while unlocking growth.
